Tottenham winger Manor Solomon will not be available to play against Manchester United.

The summer signing has been very unfortunate this season, as he has been sidelined from action since October of last year.

During a training session, the 24-year-old experienced a meniscus injury to his right knee, forcing him to miss 14 games in the current season.

The young forward underwent surgery and has been in the process of recovery since then.

Recent positive reports suggested that the left-winger might return for the Lilywhites’ trip to Old Trafford over the weekend. However, the prospect has diminished.

But injury expert, Dr. Rajpal Brar has ruled out any possibility of Solomon’s participation against Manchester United.

Discussing the condition of the player, Dr Brar stated that it is unlikely for the club to attempt to include the player in an intense clash on Sunday, especially considering he has been out for over three months.

He told Tottenham News:

“That’s never easy and the recovery does get tricky.

“The best way to handle his day-to-day and mitigate reinjury risks is a methodical progression back to matches and then multiple bounce matches.

“He still seems a few weeks away from returning to action.“

The former Shakhtar player has made 2 assists in his limited playing time of 198 minutes in the Premier League this season.

This is disappointing news but with Timo Werner’s joining the club, Postecoglou may not feel the absence of Solomon as much, and the club could gradually start integrating him back into action after his recovery.
